Drupal and Twitter

The Twitter module required the OAUTH Common and other related modules.
For some reason these stopped working in January and I just noticed...  It used to work with oauth ver2 but doesn't anymore!

Oh well... had to come up with a different solution.

Twitterfeed.com provided the functionality I wanted.
Easy peasy...
Syndicate the sphsa.ca blog posts as RSS and configure twitterfeed to check it every 30 min for new content and post any new feed entries to twitter.

The only failure here is that I can't choose what to post to twitter!
ONLY blog posts from the rss get posted ...so it's limited in that respect.

I'll re-visit this sometime because it was really great to be able to create any kind of content and click "Post to Twitter"... but that's all for now.
