Drupal/Alfresco (steps below...for posterity)
Download Ubuntu 12.04 ltd .iso
Install a new vBox VM
download/install Drush
Install MySQL server 5.5
Install Apache2
Install PHP’s
Install phpMyAdmin
Create db for Drupal
Install Drupal 7.24
Download
extract
chown stuff
install.php
Check Clean_URL’s - Check

Download Alfresco Community Edition - http://www2.alfresco.com/l/1234/2013-10-22/3dntj7
Extract
chmod stuff
Run Install .bin (PostgreSQL, Tomcat)
Configure repository… or just leave at Default for now.
Expose CMIS services.. already done.

Drush dl CMIS
Drush en CMIS (Check in Modules list)
Configure CMIS module to point to repository.

Create folder in Alfresco from Drupal

Upload an image from Drupal into the Alfresco repo..
