Well ... we saw a dog at the animal shelter that seemed a good fit.
We picked up Thor this evening after work.
He's a 1.5 year old German Shepard/Rottweiler mix and a real pussy cat. It took us 15 min to get in the car, 2 walks (with the gentle leader) and some cajoling to get him out of the kitchen once we got him home. The bacon treats that Melissa from work gave me were a great help!
He's starting to explore a bit now, albeit in a relaxed fashion, (9:00pm) so that's good.
Indra is really interested in doing Clicker training with him and "knows it all" :-). She's currently watching Puppy Clicker Training, that we were given when we picked him up. Uncle Keith send a load of good links to great tips and info as well.
I'm sure there will be more Thor stories to come...
but for now some initial photo's. He's a good boy.

Well, they say that "every dog has his day"! Lucky for Thor, yesterday was his!
